The mission and vision of our organization

Second Chance Foundation is a non-political, non-sectarian, voluntary self-help group of members for the furtherance of the mission of giving second chances to the poor and less privileged through Education, Cultural Promotion, Youth Empowerment, Life skills management and Health issues Coordination.

Our vision is to make the world a better place by uplifting the poor and providing opportunities to those in need.

What we do

Children Education

Second chances for school children

To promote education to young poor kids and orphans by establishing a primary school in the area and having qualified volunteer teachers to teach in all classes.

School Dropouts

Second chances for teenage mums and high school dropouts

To promote Life skills among teenage mums and high school dropouts though teaching them skills that include, Basket weaving, Knitting, Candle Making, Carpet making, Lamp shade Making, Beadwork, and many other activities that can be a source of income to support their lives.

Children's home

Second chances for orphan children

To establish a children’s home or rescue Centre that shelters orphans, children rescued from early marriages, children born from drug addicted parents, street children and also children from very poor backgrounds.

Talent Search

Second chances for the youth

To promote Talent among the youths and teenagers through organization of games and sports, cultural activities, Drama and acting Music and Arts. We wish to partner with different technical colleges where we can sponsor our student to attain diplomas and certificates of different courses.

HIV & AIDS

Second chances for HIV POSitive people

To support families infected and affected by HIV & AIDS through home visitation, counseling, information and support services and advocating for HIV issues.

Elderly Care

Second chances for the elderly and widows

To support widows and the elderly that are very poor and cannot afford basic amenities. We do so by having monthly visitation and taking them food and medical supplies. We intend to build a home for the elderly where we can house them and have them taken care of at all times
